Some of the most frequently asked questions…

How long does the resume writing process take?

The resume writing process can take anywhere from 5 – 10 business days from our in depth phone interview. The duration of the project is contingent on work history, position applying for, information provided in the interview, and timely response to any questions or revisions.

Do you offer a rush service?

We offer a rush service for an additional fee and you will receive your documents in 1 – 2 business days.

What does the interview process entail?

In the interview, we will ask questions about your work history, accomplishments, awards, skills, and education. We will ask what your preferred industry is, job title interests, and for you to provide job listings you are interested in.

The interview process generally takes an hour with any follow-up questions addressed via email.

How do I pay for my project?

Payment is due via venmo or zelle prior to your interview appointment. We will prepare and email your invoice to the email you provide.

Are there additional fees?

Our packages include the creation of your resume. If you would like rush service, or a stand alone cover letter, additional fees may apply. All potential fees are listed on our service pages.

How many edits do I get?

We pride ourselves on being very thorough in the interview process so you will not need many edits. We provide up to three edits but our clients rarely need more than one, if any.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer military and returning customer discounts.

Should I put a picture on my resume?

As a general rule, no, you do not want to put your picture on your resume unless the job requires it.

Cases that you may be required to put a picture on your resume are usually talent related, e.g. actors, models, bands.

Cases where your image on your resume could hurt you are when applying to government positions or companies that do business with the Federal Government. The Federal Government now states in their online job announcements that inappropriate information, such as pictures, will cause applications to be rejected.
